(Lovely language, but very slow pacing)
Crying in H Mart – Michelle Zauner
(The memoir style wasn’t for me; plus, there was too much detail about food)
Innocent, The – David Baldacci
(Just could not get into this book)
Milkman – Anna Burns
(strange)
Perk, The – Mark Gimenez
(Good plot, but gave way too much irrelevant detail)
Secret History, The – Donna Tartt
(I found this very frustrating! Add to that, the very unlikeable characters, and that was it for me)
Seven Skins of Esther Wilding, The – Holly Ringland
(I felt this book waffled on too much)
Skeleton Road, The – Val McDermid
(Despite enjoying the previous two Inspector Karen Pirie stories, I could not get into this book)
Still See You Everywhere – Lisa Gardner
(It kills me to DNF a Gardner, but this contained way too many descriptions)
There was Still Love – Favel Parrett
(Quite nicely written, but just didn’t seem to go anywhere)
